We met and fell in love in London, then we arrived in Tuscany and started our family right here, at Sant'Antonio a stone's throw from Montepulciano.
Today we live in this resort in Tuscany with our two children, Sofia and Filippo, our dog Yoda, and our cat Merlino.

Hi, I'm Nico. I was born in Kenya and lived between Africa and Europe, working in some of London's most prestigious hotels before moving to Italy with Elena to start our business.
I love sports, which is why I co-founded the Purosangue Athletics Club and help organize international sports events.

Elena, on the other hand, grew up in Tuscany, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, and she got her love for wine and the countryside from her dad, who's a wine producer.
Sant'Antonio has been part of her family for about two centuries. Her great-grandfather's dad bought it and passed it down to the next generations, who've been perfect guardians of the former monastery.

Here is the story of the Sant'Antonio Country Resort
It was once an ancient 12th-century Franciscan monastery, transformed over the years by monks and farmers who worked the hard Tuscan soil. Surrounded by crops and forests, the former monastery stands at the foot of Totona, a mountain sacred to the Etruscans.
Its location is ideal for taking advantage of the natural breeze, which keeps the crops and olive groves cool even on the hottest days.

In 1976, my business partner, but most importantly my friend, Franco Sorbini, began Sant'Antonio's elaborate renovation. As he taught me, there is always something more to share with our guests.
