In The Heart of Tuscany
Sant'Antonio Country Resort is situated in the Heart of Tuscany in what is locally known as the Tuscan Golden Triangle. These are the towns around Montepulciano, Montalcino and Radicofani. Amongst the latter 3 names are some of the most exiting "Hill Top Towns" mentioned in every guide book.

Siena
The town of Siena is world known for its incredible historical and artistic heritage, for its landscapes and the famous Palio race, that takes place every year in the famous Piazza del Campo. The town of Siena organizes over 600 events per year, amongst which there are significant music festivals and big art exhibitions. Since 1992 Siena is part of the Unesco heritage.
Sant'Antimo (Siena)
A small town with a beautiful and famous abbey that has inspired many poets, painters and writers. The creamy travertine abbey was built in 1118 in French Romanesque style.
Pienza (Siena)
A little jewel of a town that was re-designed by Bernardo Rossellino by order of Pope Pius II (Aeneas Sylvius Piccolomini) in 1458.
Montepulciano (Siena)
Sant' Antonio situated 2 kilometres from the historic town of Montepulciano known as "La Perla del 500" or "The pearl of the Renaissance" due to its 16th century architecture that was constructed under the Florentine sovereignty of the Medici family.
Montalcino (Siena)
A beautiful medieval town with narrow, winding and steep streets. Currently famous for its wines; Brunello di Montalcino.
Cortona (Arezzo)
One of the oldest cities in Italy founded by the Etruscans around 900 BC. Their original work can still be seen in the foundations of the town's massive stone walls. The city, a major power during the medieval period, held off towns such as Arezzo and Siena.
Chiusi (Siena)
Probably the most powerful city in the Etruscan league during the 6th and 7th century. Home to the great Etruscan ruler of Chiusi - Lars Porsena. There are a number of Etruscan tombs open to the public in and around Chiusi. The museums have a large number of items on display.
Bagno Vignoni (Siena)
A small medieval spa village that consists of a few houses, a huge piazza and a stone lined ancient pool constructed by the Medici. A pool of hot sulphurous water that bubbles up from volcanic rocks underground; the healing quality of this water has been known since Roman times and still used today.
