Apartment 6 - Casa Franceschi

Casa Franceschi is named after Ilario Franceschi, Major of Montepulciano in the 1850's, who used Sant' Antonio Country Resort as his week end home and retrieve.

Situated close to the private entrance of Casa Franceschi is an 18th century pergola, handmade in wrought iron, surrounded by hedges, rose bushes and furnished with a table for 4 where you can enjoy morning coffee or dine al fresco under the Tuscan stars.
Casa Franceschi is named after Ilario Franceschi, Major of Montepulciano in the 1850's, who used Sant' Antonio as his weekend home and country retreat.
This unique and noble 2 bedroom apartment is situated one flight of stairs up from its large oak double door private entrance above the ex stables.
Casa Franceschi is uniquely furnished with the original furniture used by the major in the 1850's. The terracotta floor tiles were initially laid in the 14th century and the wooden doors full of charm, character and history date back to 1650's.
The walls of the living room painted with colourful frescoes done by order of Ilario Franceschi illustrates our surrounding country side and lakes.
This marvelous living room, furnished with comfortable large sofas and coffee tables, gets ample natural light from the large window with stunning views of the country side. The only modern feature in the living room is the presence of satellite television and WIFI.
The large kitchen, with a table for 4, is a traditional Tuscan style kitchen made from oak wood with all the necessities required to prepare a delicious meal whilst enjoying the views. The main focal point of this room is the original open fireplace used for cooking in the previous centuries, now listed by the Beautiful Arts Council.
The master bedroom is completely furnished with 18th century rosewood and oak furniture and one double orthopedic mattress set in the original heavy brass bed frame. The splendid views from the master bedroom are of the famous rolling hills, olive groves and farms.
The second bedroom has late eighteenth century furniture similar to the master bedroom with one double bed consisting of an orthopedic mattress.
The bathroom consists of a double sink, toilet, bidet and shower. For the comfort of all our guests, all personal bed and shower linen is made from the highest quality cotton and Italian fabrics.

Prices are for a maximum of 4 people per apartment in apartments for 4. The rate per extra person per day is Euro 15,00.
Prices are inclusive of taxes and use of the swimming pool and Wi-fi connections.
Heating, firewood and internet usage is to be paid seperately on consumption per apartment.

On arrival

We kindly ask our guests to arrive on afternoon between 3 and 5pm. Naturally should transport and flights not allow this or cause delays, we try and be as flexible as possible to accommodate your arrival time.  However we ask that you keep us informed.

For families with children, we are happy to have you arrive what ever time you wish in the morning or afternoon and attempt to prepare your accommodation 1st allowing you to check in and relax.

Your passport or identification documents have to be provided for registration on arrival as stated by Italian Law.  All details will be strictly private and confidential.
